Hi everyone,

We’re creating this GoFundMe on behalf of our great friend, Brittany MacLean, who recently experienced an unexpected loss due to a fire in the apartment above theirs. While thankfully no one was physically harmed, the water used to put out the fire caused severe damage to Brittany and her family’s home and belongings.

In just a couple hours, water soaked through the ceilings and walls, destroying furniture, electronics, clothing, and personal items that can’t be easily replaced.

Unfortunately, many of the damaged items weren’t fully covered by insurance, and the cost of replacing essentials—like furniture, bedding, and everyday necessities—is overwhelming.

while the apartment is still currently livable, water damage tests are being done to ensure the apartment remains that way. There is a possibility Brittany and her family will need to relocate while repairs are being made throughout the apartment.

We’re asking for your help to get Brittany and her family back on their feet. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward replacing what was lost and helping cover the possibility of temporary living expenses while repairs are made.

Brittany has always been someone who shows up for others in times of need, and now it’s our turn to show up for her and her family.
