Life has thrown more than a few challenges at my best friend. As a single mom, she has always put her daughter first — working hard, sacrificing, and doing everything in her power to give her daughter a better life. But lately, a recent heart attack, the weight of bills, and the day-to-day struggle of doing it all on her own has become overwhelming. No matter how hard things have gotten, she has never let her own struggles stop her from being a loyal, caring, and supportive friend and parent. Now, I want to do the same for her.
