Support Freya's Recovery: Volunteer K9 Needs You

My name is Alex and the photos are of my K9 Freya. She is a 3-year-old German Shepherd, certified working dog. Together, we volunteer for NC K9 Emergency Response Team.

She just had TPLO surgery Monday (3/3) to repair a torn cruciate ligament. This happened last year around this time with the other leg. So, I did a bunch of homework and found an insurance carrier that I thought would cover this surgery, only to find out today that they will not cover it.

She urgently needed the surgery with a 90% cruciate tear and meniscus damage, so waiting wasn't an option.
