Hello, my name is Jason Schroeder and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story about my dog. My dog and I have been blindsided by this.

My beautiful baby girl Freya had a stroke Sunday night around 9:30pm, it came on suddenly and she started losing motor function over the left side of her body.

I rushed her to the nearest emergency room and they then told me I needed to go to a pet neurologist to get an MRI scan and look into the issue.

The closest location that was open didn't have a technician on site to run the MRI machine. They held her overnight and had her transferred to another place in the morning.

She had no prior signs of stroke or any medical condition, and an MRI scan was run and they saw nothing in the brain. They noticed a discolored section in the neck but they stated it did not look like a tumor.

Any money donated will be used towards Freya to help in her recovery. She is only 7 years old and has so much more ahead of her.
