Sweet little Freya has been a fighter since the day she was born. Arriving prematurely on December 31, 2023, she spent her first 43 days in the NICU. Since then, her tiny body has faced challenge after challenge—masses near her spine, bladder and bowel struggles, surgeries, and now, a heartbreaking cancer diagnosis.
In July 2025, The tumors were identified as a sacrococcygeal yolk sac tumor, germ cell teratoma, a rare and aggressive form. Nodules had also appeared in her lungs, indicating the cancer was spreading and was a Stage 4 cancer. Another tumor is wrapped around a leg nerve, preventing safe removal without significant risk, and creating weakness in her legs.
In August, she lost her beautiful hair—but her daddy shaved his too so she wouldn’t feel alone. Through it all, Freya remains so brave, even though hospital stays and treatments have left her scared and exhausted.
Her treatment means traveling to Ann Arbor every three weeks for five-day chemo stays, which puts an enormous emotional and financial strain on her parents, as they juggle caring for their other children back home.
We are asking for support with essentials like gas, food, and medical bills, anything to make life a little more bearable and happy during this difficult time. She needs daily medicine, 2 times a week labs, monthly scans, and possibly more surgeries. That is why we are reaching out to the larger community that knows and loves Freya.
All of the donations are going directly to Hiliary (MOM) for her to use as Freya's needs change while she battles cancer. Your contribution or spreading the word about this fundraiser is monumentally helpful and can quite literally save her life. Most of all, we ask for your continued prayers and positive thoughts for Freya.
