Fresno State Powerlifting Qualifies for World Competition

Help the Fresno State Powerlifting Club represent Team USA at the University World Competition in Turkey!
We are the student-led non-profit powerlifting club on Fresno State's campus. We are made up of hardworking athletes who show dedication, sacrifice, and a sense of community. This year at the 2025 University Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia, we battled it out against the top schools in the nation. Despite not having a funded powerlifting program like many other competitors, we proudly placed 2nd in the men's division. As a result of this outstanding performance, we have been officially invited to compete amongst the best schools across the world. Given the talent of our team alone, we are rated as one of the top-ranked schools and have a great chance at placing high in the University World competition in Istanbul, Turkey.
We are incredibly honored to have been invited to participate in this international competition, but we are facing some financial difficulties. In 2024, we were invited to compete in Estonia, but we only sent a team of 6 athletes. This year, we will be sending a team of 16 athletes. As a student-led non-profit organization, we rely on school grants and fundraising from our board members to cover costs for our members, so we are asking for your support to help cover some of the costs of our athletes.
Your donations will help fund:
- Flights
- Boarding
- Competition fees
- Official Team USA uniforms
Any donation will help us get one step closer to our goal, and we would appreciate it if anyone could share our story to help get the word out.
Thank you for believing in us and for helping Fresno State Powerlifting represent the Central Valley, Fresno State, and the USA.
Go Dogs!
