All eyes are now on Russia’s war with Ukraine. International audiences need reliable information and reporting on the situation on the ground. Since Putin’s bombs starting falling on Ukrainian cities, countless journalists, writers and analysts – in Ukraine and in Russia – have lost their jobs and their homes. Yet, they desire to continue to tell their story to the world, and New Eastern Europe is one of the main platform’s for their message.

 

New Eastern Europe is a non-profit publication based in Poland that has been covering the region of Central and Eastern Europe for over 10 years. Over this time, we have built a wide network of trusted contributors throughout the region and we need to support them now more than ever.

 

Today, we have set a goal to raise $50,000 in order to assist our contributors, writers, translators and editors to bring to you and the rest of the world comprehensive and reliable reporting, stories, analysis and commentary about the situation in our region.
