Support free education for underprivileged kids in Cambodia

Hello, my name is Bella and I am raising funds to support the New Dream Cambodian Children Organization (NDCCO), a school in Siem Reap, Cambodia, that provides free English education to children from low-income families.

I had the privilege to volunteer for NDCCO in July 2025 where I saw firsthand the incredible impact that Kimlean, the founder of NDCCO, and his team's work had on students lives.

Kimlean opened the school in 2014 and since then has had 370+ children, all coming from impoverished backgrounds, enrol to his school where they receive free english lessons.

This school in a non-governmental, non-profit organisation which means it runs entirely off of donations and help from volunteers.

English is crucial in improving the lives of these kids, letting them build brighter futures, opening doors to employment opportunities, and allowing them to access higher education. 

The school also offer free meals to the children, which they aim to do 1-2 times a week, but this, alongside the funds required to run the school, is completely dependent on how many donations or volunteers the school gets. Many of the children’s families face severe financial hardships, making it difficult for them to put food on the table. To ease this burden, NDCCO provide rice donations to these families.

NDCCO also continues to expand. For example, while volunteering there I taught english lessons in the brand new classrooms that had just recently been built in May 2025. These classrooms were built using the schools donations due to the recent influx of students. However, as NDCCO gets more and more students, it is hard for the school to expand at the same rate without adequate donations. This is why it is increasingly important that donations are made towards NDCCO

When volunteering for NDCCO, I could see how genuinely happy and appreciative the children are to be receiving an education. The teachers and workers there, as well, are some of the kindest, most happy people i've ever met and are so grateful for any help towards the school. This cause is very close to my heart for that reason - when being in Siem Reap I could see just how much every donation, large or small, mattered to these very special people and how much it positively impacted the children's lives.
