Hello, we are the children of Fred Bieber. Beth, Gen, Gabriella, and Eric are writing this with a heavy heart. A few days ago, what started as a breathtaking family trip to Yosemite turned into the scariest experience of our lives. Our dad suffered a stroke while we were on vacation, far away from home. Right now, he’s on an ICU floor of a hospital in California, hours/days from everything familiar, and we’re doing everything we can to get him the care he needs—and to bring him home to get continued care !!
Our dad is the one who always knows how to fix everything, who gives the best hugs, and who makes every trip into an adventure. But now, he’s fighting to recover, and we’re fighting to make sure he doesn’t have to do it alone.
The stroke has left him in a fragile condition, and the doctors say he’ll need specialized care and rehabilitation when he gets back home. But getting him home safely—especially in his current condition—isn’t easy or cost-friendly. Between emergency medical services, including ambulance and helicopter urgent flight, extended hospital stays, transportation costs, and all the unexpected bills piling up, my family is taking on a lot.
That’s why we’re reaching out to ask for help.
We’re hoping to raise $20,000 to cover:
• Medical transport to get my dad safely back home
• Ongoing therapy and rehabilitation costs
• Out-of-network hospital expenses
• Extended lodging and food while we stay by his side
Any amount, big or small, would mean the world to us. And if you can’t give, just sharing this with others can help more than you know.
Our dad has always been the strongest person we know. Now he needs all of us to be strong for him.
Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for keeping our family in your thoughts during this incredibly hard time.
With gratitude,
The Bieber Family
