Fred, over the past 48 hours, has become very uncoordinated and isn’t able to walk. His heart rate is also elevated, so we had to rush him to the emergency vet, where he’s currently undergoing tests.

To know Fred is to love Fred. He came into my life when I needed him most, and he’s truly been my little angel ever since. Seeing him like this is heartbreaking.

So far, the bill is already $1600—and that’s just for diagnostics. We’re still waiting for answers, and any treatment will add to the cost.

As a college student, this has been completely unexpected and overwhelming, but I’m doing everything I can for him.
