To know Fred is to love him.

Fred is a Chef at KOBE Japanese Steakhouse for over 20 years & truly loved all the owners, his customers, coworkers, thank you so much to everyone for being there for him. You will forever be his extended family. He was also a Chef at MOKKO Cuisine.

Fred was admitted to the ER on Sat. 4/26/25 with extreme abdominal pain. He's lost quite a bit of weight the past several months with varying symptoms everyday. We never knew the reasons why until today.

Fred was diagnosed with late stage squamous/liver cancer that has aggressively spread to his liver & bones. To be transparent, the Dr. says he has up to 3 months if he doesn't respond well to chemo beginning next week. They will do all they can for him but says his cancer is aggressive. We would like for him to rest, fly his family to visit him (he has not seen his mom in almost a decade from Micronesia. His family is spread out in Hawaii & New York). Fred has called Wichita his home & truly loves the slower-paced lifestyle here.

Funds & donations will be used for Fred's rising medical bills: a week-long stay in the ER, cancer treatments, loss of income from unemployment, bills & more.
