Support Freddy's Final Journey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alfredo “Freddy” Duran, who transitioned peacefully on March 4th, 2025, surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren. Born on June 24, 1950, in Constanza, Dominican Republic, Freddy spent much of his adult life in the Bronx, where he worked tirelessly and built a life for his family.

Freddy was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend—known for his zest for life and unwavering love for his family. His warmth and laughter left an imprint on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His final wish was to return home to the Dominican Republic one last time. To honor this wish, we plan to take his ashes back to Constanza following the funeral services in the Bronx.

We are raising funds to help cover the cost of his funeral expenses, memorial service, and the journey to bring him back home to the Dominican Republic. Your support, no matter how small, will help us honor his memory and fulfill his last wish.
