Hello, friends, colleagues, and to those who don't know me, my name is Cesar Sedano. I have been in the physical rehabilitation and massage industry for close to 27 years. It has not only been an amazing journey but a blessing to have helped so many people during this time. Freddy is my colleague and brother in practice, and he is to the right of this beautiful picture. My grandson Deion is in the background, and he loves Freddy dearly!

Once again, I find myself at a crossroads of helping someone really dear to me and to many of you who know him. Our brother and colleague Freddy Rivera, who for more than 20 years has given himself to our profession with dedication, unselfishness, and generosity, and who is a pillar in our community of massage therapists, Freddy has suffered a terrible accident on Sunday, December 29th. This accident has incapacitated him to practice his passion for the next 3 to 4 months and maybe longer. He's an only child like me who has been in the process of bringing his ailing mother back home to Puerto Rico from Florida. Now, this will make the process more difficult since he will be incapacitated for a long time. Freddy went through some diagnostic testing from head to toe where they found some sort of "leaking" in his abdominal region, and they couldn't find it, so he had to be transported from hospital to a trauma hospital where they finally found it. Apparently, there was some sort of ruptured or major tear in his large intestine. He has gone through a major abdominal surgery where they had to remove 45 cm of his large intestine due to the trauma sustained in a car accident where he was almost T-bone. The other driver blew a red-light hitting Freddy. The surgery was supposed to be done via laparoscopy that it should have been 30 to 60 minutes; well, it turned into a 6-hour surgery where they had to cut open his abdominal region. He will need to go back sometime for another hand surgery where his left index finger was shattered and will need screws and plates. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I will post some pictures of Freddy's difficult and painful journey after my story.

Our moment to come together and give our love back to our "Master Freddy" as we so dearly call him. We/I would like to ask for your help and support with any contribution that your heart so desires.
