Support Freddie's Battle Against Melanoma

I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my future father-in-law, Freddie, who has been courageously battling stage 4 metastatic melanoma since June of last year. Over the past year, Freddie has endured multiple chemotherapy treatments and hospital stays due to complications from treatment. Most recently, he underwent brain surgery to remove a cystic, blood-filled lesion that affected his speech and motor function. This surgery—and the recovery that follows—will leave him unable to work for the foreseeable future.

Freddie is a loving husband, a proud father and grandfather, and one of the most selfless people you’ll ever meet. He has always gone above and beyond for his family, friends, and community. For the past 16 years, he’s been a dedicated employee at Xylem Dewatering, where he’s been a key asset to the team.

If I had to choose one word to describe Freddie, it would be selfless. He has spent his life giving to others—now it's time we rally to give back to him.

This fundraiser is intended to help cover mounting medical bills and day-to-day living expenses so Freddie and his family can focus fully on his healing and well-being, not on financial stress. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
