Save Freddie

Meet Freddie: professional kitten dad, expert snuggler, part-time goofball, and full-time good boy.

Freddie’s story started 9 years ago when he was found in Hayward — skinny, scared, and losing daily battles with a food-stealing squirrel. (Yes, a squirrel. Freddie is brave, just... not great at squirrel defense.)

Since then, he’s blossomed into a giant ball of love who has helped raise over 10 foster kittens, teaching them the ways of the world (like how to nap aggressively and demand treats politely). He’s been a rock for tiny cats and big humans alike.

But now Freddie needs us.

He’s been diagnosed with a rare intestinal cancer called granular lymphoma. Treatment is pricey — about $10,000 — and while he has insurance (because he’s responsible like that), he’s about to max it out.

We want to give Freddie the best shot at more years of cuddles, kitten mentorship, and of course,  naps in sunbeams.
