Hi, so once again I am raising funds for a transition related surgery. First of all, thank you to everyone who donated to my earlier fundraiser five years ago. My top surgery was successful and has really helped me feel more comfortable in my body.

Now I am pursuing facial feminization surgery with Dr. Andrew Marano at East Coast Advanced Plastic Surgery. This procedure will be much more involved than my breast augmentation, and may even require a brief hospital stay. That being said, it will be well worth it. Especially now, in 2025, my ability to "pass" as biologically female is more important than ever to avoid violence and discrimination. This surgery will go a long way toward that goal.

I have insurance through my work, but I still have to pay coinsurance and have an out of pocket maximum of 5000 dollars. I am looking for help to cover this remaining amount, as otherwise this medical debt will likely hang over me for years to come. As someone in the process of starting her career in university teaching after finally getting my graduate degree, I do not have much money to spare and am already doing what I can to save and cut back.
