On Tuesday April 1st 2025, our dad (Frank Baggett Jr.) was admitted into Good Shepherd Emergency Room after not feeling well for over a month. The preliminary test came back showing extremely low platelets, but they were unsure of the cause. After running more test and unable to raise his levels, Good Shepherd decided he needed to be transferred, and he was moved to Medical City Dallas where they confirmed he has (Ph-) B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). His new team started his Chemo as soon as his cardiologist gave the A-Okay. Each round is 4 days followed by three weeks of testing to get ready for the next round of Chemo. Our mom has decided to stay with him at the hospital to make sure he is being well cared for (just like every day for the last 50 years). They have been asked to quarantine in the hospital, away from friends, family and grandbabies for the next 4-6 weeks, then they might can come home with monthly follow ups back to Medical City Dallas for treatments. We are raising funds to help them with the medical bills and their expenses while they are away from home and venturing into the unknown.
