Hi! My name is Olivia Young and the people in the photo are my sister, brother-in-law, and niece (Casey Rae, Matt, and Frankie). I truly appreciate you taking the time out to read their story.

Frankie was born in September 2023 with a rare genetic disorder that has resulted in a long list of medical diagnoses followed by the need for many specialists, appointments, and surgeries. To date, Frankie has had hundreds of doctor appointments, seen 14 specialists, and had 4 surgeries.

This February, Casey Rae and Frankie will be traveling to Pittsburgh, PA for a glaucoma tube placement and a corneal tissue transplant to reinforce the thinning area on Frankie's left eye. The recovery and follow-up period require that Frankie be evaluated multiple times per week. Due to this, Casey Rae and Frankie will be staying in Pittsburgh the month following the surgery.
