Thank you to everyone who supported my Aunt Frankie in one way or another. The family appreciates all the support she received along the way. Much love ❤️!
My aunt, Frankie Story, is not someone who asks for help. She is the person who helps others. That's always been one of her mantras, instilled in her by her father, my Papaw, who passed away from cancer in 2002. In March 2019 she was diagnosed with colon cancer, which then metastasized to her liver in March 2022. Her journey has continued to grow more difficult. With her treatments, if there is a side effect, she will probably experience it.
What has stood out to me the most throughout her journey is her attitude. No matter how grim the effects are or how bad she feels, she keeps pushing through and fighting. She looks for the silver lining and still seeks to help others. She has been surrounded by a wonderful support group throughout this season of her life. However, the time has come when she needs help. The past five and a half years have taken a toll on her medically, physically, mentally, and financially.
If you feel moved to give, any amount will help. Our hope is to eliminate the stress of the financial burden so she can keep fighting this battle. If you are unable to help financially, send up a prayer for her.
