update from my brother Frankie directly:
All right so updating all of you guys what's going on. I will be going into surgery tomorrow to have my stomach prepared to have dialysis done in home. Expecting a 6-week recovery surgery please pray that it takes the first time so I will not have to have a repeat operation. Backup plan is to do dialysis through my neck line in case the stomach does not go through. There was a hematoma growing on one of my kidneys so now that that is healed up my body is going to be prepped for surgery. Internal bleeding has stopped and I'm safe for procedure. Internal bleeding has stopped for the last week. It will be a lengthy recovery but I am very excited to have my second chance at life. Again I want to say thank you to everyone who has shown support I'm thinking of every one of you going into this and can't wait to catch up and spend time with you all. Much love. If you need to contact any of my relatives or would like information on what's going on reach out to me on private and I can get you phone numbers. God is good love you all see you soon!

Hello everyone, many of you know my brother Frankie Ogas and his never ending drive to be a hard worker and a genuine person. Frankie has had a long medical history of Lupus and many other underlying health conditions. Despite his pain level peaking day in and day out, he gets up and works hard with a smile on his face and makes jokes that will keep you laughing throughout the day. Many of you know him from his recent job at Mi Casita, where he made such a positive impact on so many people’s lives. But he is so much more than that, he is a father, a brother, a son and an incredible person. Unfortunately it has come to a time that now he is needing help from our little community. On Monday June 3rd, he called me early in the morning because he was not feeling well. Upon arriving to the Emergency Room they quickly detected that he was in acute renal failure (kidney failure). He was flown out to Las Cruces to the ICU where he currently resides. He has received multiple emergent procedures to help bring him back to a good baseline of health. As we all know, time spent away from home and missed work means bills start piling up. We are still unsure how long he will be admitted in the hospital. He fortunately does have insurance, but we will not know what is covered and what is not for awhile. I am asking to please help in anyway you can, so that my brother can arrive back home without the financial stressors on top of recovering from this drastic event. Thank you all!
