On behalf of the Gainesville Professional Firefighter Local 2157 retiree Frank Diaz, who suffered a horrific injury working with therapy horses for Military veterans suffering from PTSD. Frank worked for Gainesville Fire Rescue for 28 years and retired as a Lieutenant in 2018.

Frank is looking at a long recovery as he is suffering from paralysis of both lower extremities, with minimal movement of his right arm and had to have his breathing assisted and received a tracheostomy. He is currently going through extensive physical therapies to hopefully regain more mobility.

During this long recovery we are seeking out those who could help relieve the financial burden for his medical bills and his family's daily expenses while he recovers.
