My name is Amanda Strock and I am an old Medic and current ER Nurse. I have worked with Frank Curtis for 19 years in EMS.

I am starting a GoFundMe to help Frank after he had an accident at work. He was stepping out of the ambulance at a local hospital, fell, and struck his head, causing him to lose consciousness. Frank was transferred to Albany Med for fractures in his neck. He had surgery yesterday and will eventually be going to Sunnyview for rehab. He has a long road to recovery and his work as a Medic in the future is unknown.

Frank is the type of guy that is always there when needed. He is polite, kind, compassionate, and a great colleague and friend. He has dedicated his life to EMS and volunteers as a firefighter. He gives his all to the community he serves every day and now is a great time to give back to him.

He did get injured on the job and I am sure workers' comp will cover most of the medical bills, but giving him the peace of mind to be able to cover his bills and whatever extra he needs will give him the peace to focus on his recovery.
