Support Frank Bowman's Long Road to Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Sarah Richards and I am starting this for a close family friend, Frank Bowman. Frank Bowman is the type of man that would help anyone he could; he’s personally helped my family with numerous projects around their house. He loved his bike and riding, whether it was with his wife or just going out. Right now, Frank and his family need all the help they can get.
On September 7th, 2024, a tragedy occurred. Frank, my cousin Harry, and a few of their bike friends went out for a ride. On this particular day, they were riding down Hwy 33 in Polk County, FL when a driver of a Toyota Tacoma driving toward them decided he was going to try to pass traffic but soon realized he didn’t have enough clearance and tried to get back in his lane, but ended up causing a head-on collision, critically injuring two of the bike riders, one being Frank and the other my cousin Harry.
Both were airlifted to the hospital with critical injuries. Frank’s leg was amputated immediately, and he lost a lot of blood. He was in a medically induced coma for a few days. He remains in TICU right now, has had surgeries with many more to go. He is lucky to be alive. His recovery will be a long one and his family and wife will need all the help they can get. Please donate to help with medical bills, food, medical help at home during recovery, as well as bills they incur during this tragic time. Thank you.
