On October 18, 2024, our friend Francisco Torres was involved in an ATV accident while vacationing in the Dominican Republic. Upon his arrival at the hospital, they discovered a brain bleed. They transferred him to another hospital two hours away and sedated him. On Sunday, they performed a three-hour surgery to remove the blood from his brain. The surgery was successful.

Monday afternoon, he was brought back into the OR. The doctors performed a surgery to relieve the pressure and swelling in his brain. This surgery was successful as well. Francisco will remain in the Dominican Republic for well over a month. Once he is well enough to return to New York, he will need to be transported to another hospital to endure a third surgery.

His friends and family are aware of the long journey he has ahead of him. He will likely be unable to work for some time. At every stage, we want to help ease the burden. We do not want him to have to worry about anything other than healing. We greatly appreciate anything that anyone can contribute, whether it be by donating to this fund, sharing it, and/or praying.

Francisco means a lot to us and we want to show him that he is not doing this alone.
