Support Francisco's Final Journey Home
Donation protected
Last week, after returning from dialysis, Francisco had a serious fall resulting in a broken femur. He was found by a friend and taken to the hospital, where he had to undergo major surgery. While in recovery, he suffered heart failure and tragically passed on the morning of September 29th, 2024.
Francisco was a quiet man who spent the later years of his life living on his own in Utah, finding peace in his solitude. Though he faced many challenges, he remained strong. He was a kind soul who loved his family very much. He regularly video chatted with his grandkids and loved to hear about the sports they played, the trips we went on, and getting updates on what was happening in our lives. Toward the end of his life, he struggled tremendously with his health. We are comforted in knowing he is no longer in pain. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
We will be traveling to Utah to take care of his final arrangements before bringing him back home to Oregon with us.
Unfortunately, the mounting cost of the cremation, memorial expenses, and all other arrangements are beyond what we can bear alone. We humbly ask for your generosity and support in helping us bring Francisco back home, so that we can honor him as we celebrate his life and say our goodbyes.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, would be deeply appreciated and help lighten this heavy load. We are grateful for any help you can provide, whether through a donation or sharing this message with others who may wish to assist.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for all of the love and support you have shown during this time. It means more to us than words can express.
With love and gratitude,
The Hernandez Family.
