Support Francis and Chris After Stroke

My name is Francis Morra. My roommate, Chris Field, Sr., suffered a stroke. He is unable to work.

He has to use a wheelchair to get around in our home. I am now responsible for paying all of our bills.

Chris has applied for Social Security Disability Insurance. It will take at least a year before he will know if he

can receive Social Security Disability Insurance. Chris is 63 years old.

I am a senior citizen. I am 67 years old. Social Security is my only source of income. I am now responsible for all

of the monthly rent, the electric bill, the monthly car payments, the car insurance and the income taxes I must pay for

work I did in 2024 from home as an independent contractor. This means that no taxes were taken out of my paychecks.

I owe the IRS $403.

Chris and I face homelessness. Neither one of us has a place to go. We do not have family that can help us.

As many of you know, the future of Social Security benefits being paid on time is in doubt. There is also a horrible possibility that there might not be any benefits going forward. I count every month that I receive a Social Security check as a blessing.
