Francine has always been a bright light in our community, known for her warm smile and her incredible handmade lemonades at The Perfect Squeeze. For years, she’s been a familiar face at local events and especially beloved in the Volkswagen community, where her charming lemonade stand is a highlight for so many. Her dedication to her small business and her kindness to everyone she meets have made her a friend to countless people.

After two years in remission, Francine began working as a nanny and truly loved caring for children. She was looking forward to lemonade season and, for the first time since her diagnosis, was able to support herself financially. Both being a nanny and running her lemonade stand brought her real joy and a sense of purpose. Sadly, her ovarian cancer has returned and spread, forcing her to stop working and put her plans on hold while she undergoes intensive treatment. The sudden interruption of her progress has made it difficult for her to manage daily costs on her own. Francine feels uncomfortable asking for help, but the support of her community means everything to her during this time. Despite these challenges, she continues to inspire those around her with her resilience and positive spirit.
