It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Fely, beloved mother of our dear friend Francine. Fely's health slowly began to decline in 2024. This past Thursday, she was unexpectedly rushed to the hospital and unfortunately, passed away the next day.

Francine had spent the early part of 2025 in the Philippines by her mother’s side, caring for her at home. She had since returned to Vancouver, only to receive the heartbreaking news of her mother’s passing on Friday. Francine is now preparing to fly back to the Philippines to organize her mother's funeral and support her family.

Fely, known by her church community as "Manang," was a lifelong servant of faith. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication touched countless lives throughout her years of service.

This fundraiser is to help Francine cover the costs of the funeral and provide support for her family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution is deeply appreciated.
