Hi, my name is Danielle Pebres, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. I recently found out that my mom has been diagnosed with terminal cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of bile duct cancer.

This year was meant to be the start of her retirement after over 20 years of working as a support worker for single Indigenous mothers who’ve experienced abuse and addiction. She has dedicated her life to serving others with compassion, strength, and unwavering commitment.

She has also always been there for me, supporting me as a single mother, and raising me with the strength and care of both a mom and a dad. Now, I want to give back to her the same way she’s always given to others and to me.

I’m currently her sole provider and caregiver, and I’m fundraising to help cover the urgent costs of her cancer treatment and daily care. Her condition is progressing quickly, and time is critical.
