Hi! My name is Francesca Silva, and I’m a high school student in a Veterinary Magnet Program and a proud member of FFA. Ever since I was little, I’ve loved animals, and my dream has always been to become a veterinarian.
This is my second year raising goats through my school’s agricultural program. Last year, I had a very special goat named Dimmy. We shared an incredible bond, and losing her was one of the hardest experiences I’ve had. She taught me so much about responsibility, compassion, and the importance of caring for animals.
This year, I’m excited to begin a new chapter with my Nigerian Dwarf goat, Autumn. My FFA project is focused on breeding goats, giving me the opportunity to learn about genetics, reproductive health, pregnancy, kidding, newborn kid care, nutrition, and herd management. This hands-on experience is an important step toward achieving my dream of becoming a veterinarian.
To give Autumn the best possible care throughout this project, I’m raising funds to help cover the costs of:
* Quality feed and hay
* ️ Bedding
* Minerals and nutritional supplements
* Routine medications and veterinary care
* Breeding, pregnancy, and kidding supplies
* General farm and goat care supplies
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward Autumn’s care and my education. Through this project, I’ll gain real world experience that will help prepare me for a future dedicated to improving the lives of animals.
Thank you for believing in me and supporting my journey toward becoming a veterinarian. If you’re unable to donate, sharing my fundraiser with your family and friends would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness and support!
Francesca & Autumn ❤️
