In the summer of 2028, women's lacrosse will be part of the Olympics for the first time, and the Women's France Lacrosse Team is excited to make their mark as part of the 19 teams going to the World Lacrosse European Qualifiers.

If our team makes it to the top 5 in this tournament, we will be able to go on to the World Championships, where the top 5 teams will qualify for the Olympics.

Our team is one that is new, mighty, and strong. As a new team, each player is responsible for self-funding the trip, which in itself is not cheap. Each player is responsible for around $1.5K-$2K worth of expenses that include:

  • $5.5K for the team to be entered into the competition
  • $16K for food & lodging

We're hoping to raise at least $5.5K for the team's competition fee, and any additional funds will be used to subsidize players' travel & lodging costs.

We have some brilliant players that are part of our roster. Meet our amazing team:

  • Alice Claisse: A business immigration paralegal and a recent graduate from Queen's University Belfast
  • Amelia Toscano: One of our three captains, an Emerson alum, and the first to make a goal for Team France in the women's debut appearance in Portugal 2024
  • Anna Bogatirsky: A current undergrad at UC Berkeley, studying cognitive science, with an emphasis in children's psychology.
  • Christen Campbell: Lovingly referred to as 'Mama Christen,' a University of Vermont D1 alum, a French high school teacher, and proud mom of 3 future laxers
  • Hannah Delayhaye: One of the captains of the France team, Hannah is a Towson University D1 alum, the current assistant coach at Bryant University, and is currently studying for her master's at BU for her master's in public health
  • Genevieve Lucas-Conwell: One of the captains, working in Santa Cruz at an environmental nonprofit as a programs director.
  • Margaux Giacotto: A Carthage College alum and currently studying in her last year for her doctorate in veterinary medicine. In her free time, she also enjoys competing in triathlons.
  • Mathilde Zumbo: Our beloved Toulouse resident and our fierce goalie. When Mathilde is not on the ground saving shots, she's in the air, operating as a mechanic for Airbus Aircraft
  • Mathilde Birch: Recent graduate of the University of York, currently in South America.
  • Mia Levesque: Currently getting her BS in bioengineering while also playing for the UNH D1 women's lacrosse team
  • Penelope Reille: In her last year at CU Boulder, double majoring in marketing and strategy & entrepreneurship
  • Sixtine Bellini: An integral part of growing the sport in France as well as being a full-time lawyer
