Help Fran & Frank Recover After a Devastating Car Accident

Hi, my name is Joe Albert, and I’m fundraising for my best friend Fran and her brother Frank, who were in a terrible car accident on May 1st, 2025.

Fran has been the heart and soul of J. Albert Studios for over 28 years. She’s known and loved by so many—not just for her dedication and warmth but also for her incredibly giving spirit. Throughout her life, Fran has quietly helped others without asking for anything in return.

For decades, Fran played a vital role in my studio. She loved working in Photoshop — she had an amazing eye and a natural gift for retouching and detail work. But as her vision declined due to macular degeneration, she was forced to step away from the job she loved. It was heartbreaking for both of us — she didn’t just lose work, she lost a part of her identity.

Frank, her brother and constant support, has stepped in as her driver and daily companion. He was taking Fran to a dentist appointment when a driver ran a stop sign, T-boning their truck. The impact flipped the vehicle onto its side and into oncoming traffic, where it was hit again. Their vehicle was completely totaled.

Fran suffered a broken sternum and is struggling to breathe, especially after recent lung surgery. Frank also sustained injuries, and with no vehicle and both of them needing time to heal, they are facing an uphill battle.

They urgently need help with getting a reliable car and covering basic daily living expenses during this difficult time.
