Recover and Rebuild After Two Spine Surgeries

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I’m reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request to support our dear friend Fran Connor during an incredibly challenging time. Fran recently endured two spine surgeries within just six weeks apart. The first surgery, meant to alleviate her chronic back pain, unfortunately failed. The neurosurgeon removed five discs, but her pain persisted and worsened. An MRI revealed that the screws were loose and the rods were coming off, necessitating a second, more complex surgery with a different surgeon.

Fran’s journey to recovery has been filled with immense pain and uncertainty. Despite her strength and determination, she has not been able to work since her first surgery. Fran is a loving mother to her 15-year-old son, who temporarily stays with his dad while she tries to heal. She has no family in New Jersey to lean on for support during this difficult period.

The financial burden of two major surgeries, combined with the inability to work, has left Fran in a dire situation. She is struggling to cover basic necessities such as rent, utilities, and the mounting medical bills. Fran has always been a pillar of strength and support for others, and now she needs our help more than ever.
