My name is Renate and I have been the partner to Francis Butler for almost 18 years. Fran passed away this past Friday, August 8th. We have been struggling financially since I lost my job in February 2024. Fran has been on Social Security disability since being diagnosed with a life ending illness. I have only been working part time at a local variety store and we have been struggling financially. Fran had one of the most amazing senses of humor and I think that’s what made me drawn to him originally. Fran loved his family, his friends me and my family, as if they were all his own. I don’t want or need an elaborate funeral, but I want to have Fran cremated, which was his wishes and I would like to do a celebration of life. Financially, I cannot do this. I don’t have the money. I’m asking for help from anyone in any amount that you can afford without giving up your own needs. There’s so much more I’d like to say right now, but mostly thank you for anything you can do. The cremation is going to be through Dolby funeral home in Windham and I’m hoping to find out the exact amount today.
