Support The Fragile X Clinic at Children's Hospital CO

July is Fragile X Awareness Month. The Colorado FX Foundation Inc., is raising funds to support our dedicated Fragile X Clinic at Children’s Hospital Colorado. This clinic is led by Dr. Nicole Tartaglia and Susan Howell, MS.

Your donation—no matter the amount—directly supports the clinic’s mission to provide expert, multidisciplinary care for individuals and families affected by Fragile X syndrome. Together, we can help ensure continued access to specialized services and create a brighter future for the Fragile X community.

The Denver Fragile X Clinic currently provides:

A dedicated clinic coordinator and genetic counselor (Susan Howell, MS)

Expert medical care and medication management from providers trained in Fragile X syndrome (Dr. Nicole Tartaglia, Ciara Gurley, PA)

Multidisciplinary evaluations and treatment, including:

Developmental Pediatrics

Genetic Counseling

Psychology

Occupational therapy

Speech therapy

Social work services

Child Life support during appointments

Referrals to local and community programs

Opportunities to participate in Fragile X research studies and clinical trials of new medications (Karen Regan, RN)

This comprehensive, coordinated care model is rare—and fragile. Without secure funding, these services are at risk. Loss of support would mean more fragmented care, reduced access for families, and fewer research opportunities.

With your help, we can continue to serve Fragile X families across Colorado and surrounding states including Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana, New Mexico, Nebraska, and Kansas.

Thank you Colorado Fragile X for this effort to support the Fragile X Clinic! Funding changes and decreased support for pediatric and disability care services are really impacting the environment in our health care setting, and we need some funding for the Fragile X clinic so we can continue to be here for all our amazing Fragile X families.
