Yet again, I am sending out requests for donations to a good cause. This time, the beneficiary would be my brother Robert, or Fr Hart as his former parishioners know him, whose travails I have described in the past. His current situation he has described thus:

“As some of you know, my car was struck by a motorcycle traveling at 135 mph. The insurance company is calling it a total loss. As a priest who has had to retire as a rector, my wife and I having a limited “fixed” income right now, and vehicles being very expensive these days, I could use some help to the tune of a few thousand dollars. A large monthly payment would, as things are now, put us in a difficult position month to month.“

As I have noted in the past, my brother has devoted himself to serving the poor, the sick, the disadvantaged, and (whenever possible) refugees. He also cares for a handicapped adult son and suffers from health problems of his own. In any event, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
