Rev. Fr. Andy Barcelo, my beloved uncle, has always been a source of strength and comfort to our family and his community. In March, he was diagnosed with lymphoma, which began a long and challenging journey. He was hospitalized for shortness of breath, underwent surgery, and bravely completed eight cycles of chemotherapy. After a month of radiation therapy, we hoped for good news, but a recent PET scan revealed a tumor in his lung. Now, he faces another round of chemotherapy, and the road ahead remains uncertain.


Throughout this journey, Fr. Andy has shown incredible faith and resilience. However, the cost of ongoing treatments, hospitalizations, medical tests, and daily high-protein supplements has quickly depleted his resources. Our family has done everything we can, but the financial burden is overwhelming. The money raised will go directly toward his medical care and nutritional needs, giving him the best chance to continue fighting and healing.


We humbly ask for your prayers, support, and any help you can offer. Your kindness will make a real difference in Fr. Andy’s life. As it says in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”


Let us pray: Loving God, we ask for your healing hand upon Fr. Andy. Grant him strength, comfort, and hope as he faces each new challenge. Surround him with your love and the support of caring friends and family. May your peace fill his heart and may your grace guide his doctors and caregivers.
