i lost my job on 8/29/25, without a severance, my former employer stopped paying for my health insurance on 9/1/25, and for some unknown reason denied my unemployment claim.

while i’m not yet selling my condo or putting my 3 kits (lilah, carbon and ‘zeke the girl’) up for catdoption- i am nervous.

i have gone through all my buffer savings and and have been receiving financial support from my parents, but i dont want them to bear that responsibility any longer, if i can.

the amount i chose as my goal is well thought out. to help with life expenses coming up.

its about relieving a little mental pressure and being able to breathe just a little bit easier while i look for a job.

any money i receive will be used wisely, frugally. no impromptu ‘trips to cancun’ for me! and when i do get a job- any overage will be put to good use- for the benefit of others.

i am working diligently toward getting a job but the market is tough right now and with the holidays upon us its even tougher.
