All Adults crave independence and for Fox that may look a little different for him. My incredible, Funny guy turned 18 in April and has expressed his desire to live independently. Unfortunately, it is a little more complicated of a situation than simply apartment shopping.

Fox is autistic and we think the most beneficial and safe independent living for him would be to build him a tiny home in our back yard. We’ve looked at buildings, priced some work required to complete set up and decided we would ask our community for help. I know this is a big ask but anything helps. I am so grateful for every single person who can contribute or share in any way possible.

We hope to document this journey to help other families in our situation, who feel failed by disability services and resources in the US and need a solution that is safe and supportive for their loved one.
