These little boys need some help.
Donation protected
A sibling group of four brothers were placed with my husband and me six weeks ago on fictive kin status by the state of NV. We knew the kiddos as our foster grandchildren up until six months ago, and had missed them terribly. We can't show their faces or share the reason for the imminent danger - emergency placement with us, but the kids arrived having endured trauma. It's been really hard and our family has pulled together so we have help in caretaking. My daughter is with us this week, and then my son Inlaw again. Fictive kin placement doesn't entitle us to compensation for foster care or respite care; we neither were approved for other services. The expenses for four children is a lot and we humbly ask for help, donations of any amount. The kids need it. The trauma response in babies and toddlers is unpredictable and exhausting for even the children; their ages are 5, 4, 3 years old, and 8 months old. One has started kindergarten and one has started preschool. Medical appointments, school bus schedules, grocery shopping, diapers, preparing meals, laundry, teething and fevers, bath time, play time, and carefully managing their behavioral health including nightmares and constant outbursts is our new everyday normal. We have hope to help the children back to joy, and ask for your prayers that we remain patient. God, bless this fundraiser and the security of your babies. We thank you for trusting us and ask for your constant guidance. I'd like to thank Britain for what she did for us the other day. Bless her Lord, she's wonderful to my family.
