Support Formula SAE at MSU

Beginning from the goal of racing in Formula SAE Electric, Formula SAE at MSU, a.k.a. "Lighting Cats Racing" was created by MSU students with the passion to provide hands-on involvement in formula style racing to students at Montana State University. The 2024-2025 competition cycle will be our first chance to show what we can do; we're registered to compete at Michigan International Speedway in May. We are focusing on the basics this year - build an ICE car to pass technical inspection at competition. This will lay the groundwork to bring a truly competitive car to competition in 2026. Most of the value gained here is intangible, as it comes in the form of education, experience, and design data. Building a racecar is, however, no inexpensive endeavour; we rely on our generous sponsors and donors to make it happen.

All funding recieved goes directly to supporting club activities, namely buying the parts and tools necessary to get this scratch-built racecar on the road. In order to go to compeition and ensure the success of this club, we need YOUR help to reach our goal. Thank you.
