Support Forgotten Felines of WNY's Mission

Story

Hello. Most of you know us and what we do. For those who don't, we will introduce ourselves. Our names are Melissa and Andrea. We are the founders of Forgotten Felines of WNY. We opened this organization in 2020 to help the forgotten felines of WNY. The kitties that aren't regular shelter kitties. They are shy, nervous, cage aggressive, sick seniors, and some are hospice. We have a few that are super sweet and friendly, also some bonded pairs of kitties. Every cat in our care knows love and comfort. We are 2 women who had a dream to help those that were overlooked, and we are doing everything to keep it going. We not only care for over 20 cats in our program, we help feed and vet over 200 colony cats and take care of our families. We work multiple jobs and sacrifice many hours with our loved ones to help keep the cats in our care happy and healthy. We have a wonderful group of supporters who do everything they can to keep us afloat; however, it just isn't enough when the vetting is more expensive, food and supplies cost more, and we are drowning. So here we are. We spend approx 3k a month on supplies and care of the kitties and we are struggling to keep this up. We are here in hopes to get some support and a jump start on June's needs. Even better if we can raise July's as well. The stress day to day on wondering how we will make it another week is taking its toll. We thank you for all the support!
