Hi, I am Robbie and I created this gofundme campaign to support one of our dear friends who was a victim by the Lapu lapu festival tragic incident in Vancouver on April 26, 2025.

Before initiating this GoFundMe campaign, I sought their permission, as maintaining their privacy is crucial to me.

Moreover, I am concerned about possible scammers. My primary concern is to provide them with the best possible assistance.

Zoe's aunt has been a valued family friend, for over a decade now. Our bond extends beyond a typical family friendship but I consider them as my family here in Vancouver.

Zoe, a driven and compassionate young adult, made the bold decision to move to Vancouver, Canada, to pursue his academic aspirations, leaving his parents in the Philippines. He moved to Vancouver last September 2024 as an international student and currently resides with his older sister.

Unfortunately, he was among the victims of the tragic incident at the Lapu lapu festival on April 26, 2025, and is currently in St. Paul's hospital due to multiple injuries to his lower extremities.

Zoe sustained severe injuries to both legs, including multiple fractures, broken bone on the right ankle , dislocated left ankle, broken left femure, and broken left lower leg, cracks on pelvis, bruising on the abdomen, broken ribs, bruised lung, road rash on right arm, road rash on left elbow, road rash on back down to the butt and underwent surgery to address the broken left leg (metal rod) and had put the external hardwire for the femure.

Additional surgeries are forthcoming to treat the broken and cracked bones in his lower extremities.

Despite these challenges, Zoe's spirits remain high, demonstrating remarkable strength and resilience. The long-term implications of his injuries are still uncertain.

Zoe is a young individual with promising prospects, and we anticipate substantial expenses on his rehabilitation, daily expenditures, and other financial obligations. Your support would be invaluable in helping Zoe and his family navigate this challenging period.
