On February 15th we had to say goodbye to our baby and best friend Zeus. Not a single person who crossed paths with Zeus didn't love him immediately. He was a known celebrity in our local walmart :). Even people who never met Zeus knew how loved he was and that he was everything to us. A memory we would like to share...zeus took off to a neighbors house because he saw their chickens and needed to go check them out. Of course we were worried he might try to eat them for dinner but instead he was just following them around like he was one of the flock. Zeus was gentle with any and every living thing...really putting a stop to the stigma on big scary pitbulls :). His closest k9 friend, shield will be lost without his bff zeus. Our world forever changed having him in our lives and now without him the loss is unbearable. In our undying effort to save Zeus, we are now faced with the out of pocket expenses amounting to $15,000 plus his final expenses. This has put a financial burden on us and our families.
