Zariyona Rowe is my friend and a 21-year-old US Navy veteran who has already shown incredible strength and resilience. Recently, Zariyona was the victim of a violent crime while trying to sell a watch. Two men approached her, and one put a gun to her head. In a terrifying moment, she was shot in the face. Despite her severe injuries, Zariyona managed to drive away, but in her struggle to survive, she hit several cars as she bled out. Her courage in that moment is a testament to her spirit, but she now faces a long and difficult road to recovery.

The aftermath of this tragedy has left Zariyona with significant medical bills and unexpected expenses from the cars she hit—costs that insurance won’t fully cover.
