On Sunday, September 21, 2025, a devastating accident changed Zariyah’s life forever. On her way home from church, she was in a tragic car accident, and in an instant, she lost three of the most important people in her world—her paternal grandparents, Belkys, John, and Marlene, and her great-grandmother. Miraculously, Zariyah survived as the sole survivor of the crash. Truly, she is a miracle from God.
Zariyah is a beautiful, resilient 6-year-old whose faith in God, instilled by her grandparents, has been her peace in the midst of this tragedy. Her grandparents faithfully took her to "Jesus School" every Sunday and dedicated their lives to teaching her God’s word. Belkys, John, and Marlene were not just grandparents she visited occasionally—they were a huge part of her daily life. Their sudden passing has left a profound emotional void and created significant financial and practical challenges for her family.
Her parents are doing everything they can, but with humble incomes, the sudden increase in expenses is overwhelming. Zariyah now needs additional support for:
After-school care, which her grandparents previously provided assistance with.
Medical expenses related to the accident and her ongoing care. Unfortunately, medical insurance cannot be billed until auto-insurance matters have been settled.
Day-to-day living costs, as the family adjusts to this heartbreaking loss
All funds raised through this campaign will be used strictly and exclusively for Zariyah—for her care, daily needs, medical expenses, and overall well-being. These funds will not be used for any other purpose or distributed to any other family members.
We are reaching out to our community to come together and support Zariyah during this difficult time. Every donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward ensuring she has the care, stability, and resources she needs to heal, thrive, and continue growing in faith.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign to help give Zariyah the love, support, and security she deserves as she navigates life after such unimaginable tragedy.
