I am creating this fundraiser for the unimaginable loss my cousin Krissie and her husband Shane Huff, who has become a brother to me, have tragically sustained in the unexpected loss of their son, Zane Huff.

At just 20 years old, Zane Huff’s life was tragically cut short in a car accident while driving home from work. In a single moment, a son, a brother, a friend, a grandson, and a bright young man with his entire future ahead of him was taken far too soon. The loss has left his family, friends, and everyone who knew him completely heartbroken.

Zane was just beginning to build his life. He had big dreams, a strong work ethic, and a love for the simple things that made life meaningful. He loved hunting and fishing, spending time outdoors, and working with his hands. Welding wasn’t just a skill to him—it was an art; something he truly enjoyed and took pride in. When he wasn’t working or helping on the farm, you could usually find him turning up old country music or rocking out to hard rock, living life the way he loved—loud, genuine, and full of energy.

Zane had a personality that people were instantly drawn to. He had a wicked sense of humor with just the right amount of sarcasm, and he had a way of making people laugh especially when they needed it most. His laughter was contagious, his smile unforgettable, and his presence could light up a room. He was the kind of person who made ordinary moments feel special.

More than anything, Zane loved his family and friends. He spent countless hours working alongside his family on the farm, helping build the dream they were creating together. He never complained about hard work—he embraced it. Being there for his family meant everything to him.

What made Zane truly special was the size of his heart. He cared deeply about people. If someone needed help—whether it was a friend, neighbor, or even a complete stranger—Zane would be the first to stop and lend a hand. That kindness and willingness to help others is something everyone who knew him will always remember. Helping others wasn’t something he thought twice about—it was simply who he was.

It is now our turn to help Zane's family the way he would never hesitate to help others!

The pain of losing Zane is unimaginable. His family is now facing the heartbreaking reality of moving forward without him, while also dealing with the unexpected financial burdens that come with such a sudden and tragic loss.
