Zaire is not just my cousin, but also my best friend and the person I turn to for support. She’s always been the one to listen, offer advice, and bring light to everyone around her. Recently, Zaire received the devastating news that she has a brain tumor and needs surgery right away. Her operation is scheduled for today, and everything has happened so quickly that we’re still processing it all.


Because of her diagnosis and the urgent need for surgery, Zaire has had to take time off work and will be out for an unknown period as she recovers. Doctors expect she’ll be in the hospital for at least a week after surgery, but the full recovery timeline is still uncertain. During this time, she’ll need help covering her living expenses, including rent and other bills, so she can focus on healing without added stress.
