A week ago, 4-year-old Zackery Davis, was running and playing like other little boys his age. Today, he’s at UNC Children’s Hospital in North Carolina fighting for his life.
Zackery has hepatoblastoma—a rare cancerous tumor that began in his liver and has spread to both of his lungs. His parents Daniel and Haleigh are terrified by what’s to come. Doctors are saying that Zackery will need surgery, chemotherapy and possibly a liver transplant.
