Support For Zach Shaleen
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,
On February 21, 2017, Zach was involved in a tragic dirtbike accident in Hastings, MN. Zack has suffered massive trauma to his head, has undergone two surgeries in the first 24 hours, and is currently in a medically induced coma.
Zach finished the Electrical Lineworker Program and graduated from Minnesota State Technical College at Baudette in May 2016. Just recently, Zach completed his interview to start the Missouri Valley Apprenticeship. He was looking forward to starting his lineman career.
While Zach is fortunate to have the medical insurance support of his parents while in the hospital, the financial burden of a long-term high acuity nursing facility and intensive rehabilitation will be immense. Zach's family remains hopeful that he will return to the things he loves like hunting and fishing. The road to recovery will be long and difficult.
We've set up this fund to help his family with expenses and other ongoing support costs as they grapple with the impact of this traumatic experience.
Donating through this site is easy but if you would like to donate directly or help out in other ways, please contact Missy Shaleen or Bill & Kari Shaleen.
